About the Project

The vitality of the virtual realm in our lives is unquestionable. What can be questioned however is how equitable this transition to the online mode of functioning has been. Payments, everyday purchases, and education now all have an online dimension. As responsible citizens of tomorrow, our goal should therefore be to help others adjust to, and reap maximum benefit from the new normal that we are now witnessing.

To that end, TechTalk has a three-fold aim:

  1. Educating the average individual about the benefits technology has to offer to our quotidian routines (education)

  2. Making privacy and data protection laws and what they entail more accessible to the common man (awareness)

  3. Aiding individuals from underserved communities to gain access to basic smartphones for availing of these advantages (fundraising)

With the use of our original guide, which covers the A to Z of uses of the internet, we conduct workshops at NGOs. Our guide is targeted to make students understand the utility of the internet for student life to future business ideas. Further, we have informative flyers on data and privacy to demystify the smartphone.
